idk who needs to hear this but just bc it’s ending doesn’t mean it never happened !!!! wonderful memories are not simply undone because the person is no longer in your life. it counts for something. and it’s okay to look back with fondness bc that was still time invested no matter what

there’s no such thing as good or bad food, people like different things and that’s okay it’s literally just food, and this includes cultural/traditional foods, as long as people aren’t being racist or disrespectful everyone is allowed to have their own opinions and it’s not wrong or problematic to dislike a cultural food or even to prefer a less authentic version of it

staying over at your parents is like. wow I’ve spent some of the worst times of my life here feeling trapped and alone. I’m so glad I don’t live here anymore. I’m so sad I’ll never live in the same house as my siblings ever again. I miss being a child. I miss living with my family. or maybe I miss the concept of a happy family. the idea of something I never truly had. I’ve cried in this bed so many times. things have changed so much. I feel the ghosts of my younger selves in this room still. it’s good to be home.

    “Capitalism made your-”

No. LABOUR made it. LABOUR made my phone, my laptop, the internet, this website, my clothing, my house, all social media, and everything else. LABOUR makes things, Capitalism doesn’t because economic systems don’t ‘make’ anything, they just determine who gets paid for making things.
